Job Position: Senior Writer

This role is tasked to ensure regular and timely production and release of good quality stories and updates about the Tampakan Project to support awareness campaigns and complement the stakeholder engagement and advocacy activities of the company.
Key responsibilities :
•Lead the conceptualization, research, data-gathering, and writing of good quality project stories and news releases.
•Coordinate with other teams in promoting projects, activities, and successes through written articles and stories
•Perform data / information gathering functions to ensure articles and stories are supported with accurate and relevant details.
•Liaise with stakeholder engagement units in gathering stories from external stakeholders and communities.
•Work with the Business Communications Team in the production of press releases.
Key requirements :
•Degree in Journalism, Communication, Media or Organizational Communication
•Two (2) years experience in broadcast or print media or with a public relations unit of a medium or large company
•Excellent writing skills in Cebuano, Filipino and English and research / data-gathering capabilities
•Experience in PR or information campaign
•Proficient in MS Office operation
•Demonstrated ability to plan, organise, and coordinate activities
